Where do sessions take place?
Face-to-face sessions take place at Bere Farm in Lytchett Matravers, Dorset. Online & telephone sessions may also be available where appropriate.
Do you work with children and young people?
Yes. Katie works with adults, children and young people and holds a Level 5 qualification in working with children and young people.
Are sessions confidential?
Counselling is confidential within professional and safeguarding boundaries. Katie will explain these clearly before counselling begins.
Can parents or carers be involved?
When counselling involves a child or young person, Katie can discuss the process with parents or carers while respecting the young person’s privacy and appropriate safeguarding boundaries.
Can I access counselling through CanCare Purbeck?
If your home address is within the Purbeck area and you’re experiencing difficulties connected to cancer, you may be eligible for funded counselling through Katie’s CanCare allocation. Funding is limited and subject to availability.
